Love Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare announce engagement

Heartfelt congratulations are due for Love Island's power couple, Tom Clare and Molly Smith, who have joyfully announced their engagement.

This morning (4 Sept), Tom took to Instagram to share a delightful photo with his new fiancé on the beach, with the caption: "SHE SAID YES!!!".

The couple initially crossed paths on the second All Stars spin-off of the beloved reality TV show last year, where former stars made their return to find love once more.

Manchester beauty Molly first graced the show in 2020, where she famously connected with ex-partner Callum Jones, from whom she parted ways in late 2023. Meanwhile, Barnsley native Tom appeared in the 2023 series, leaving the show with now-former partner Samie Elishi.

In their recent social media post, 26-year-old footballer Tom is seen embracing fitness influencer Molly, 31, having orchestrated a romantic beachside proposal in Dubai.

Almost as if anticipating the moment, the blonde beauty donned a satin maxi dress for the special occasion.

Tom appeared to have crafted an aisle for his future bride, which was beautifully decorated with thousands of white rose petals.

In a second image, the couple is captured sharing a kiss by the waterside, while a third shows Tom kneeling down to ask the crucial question.

Another photo reveals Molly proudly displaying her stunning new ring - a breathtaking marquise set with a diamond band.

Following their engagement announcement, a wave of their former co-stars rushed to the comments to express their congratulations to the happy couple, including Olivia Bowen, who exclaimed: "Omg - so happy for you both, congratulations xxxxxxx."

Liberty Poole added: "Omg !!! Guys, so thrilled for you both, congratulations."

"Wow! Congratulations, guys," added Luca Bish.
