A multi-millionaire has ignited controversy online after disclosing he paid a model £50,000 to be his egg donor because he 'didn't want unattractive children'.
Yes, you read that correctly - Barrie Drewitt-Barlow made this daring remark during a recent episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over.
Barlow, originally from Manchester, UK, splits his time between his grand mansions in Essex and Florida, US, and is now the father of eight children via surrogacy.
During the BBC show, he divulged that he shelled out an astonishing £50k to a runway model in Miami in exchange for her eggs.

A clip circulating on Twitter shows Stacey asking the millionaire: "A model? What attracted you to her?"
Without hesitation, Drewitt-Barlow candidly replied: "Initially, her appearance. It was entirely her looks. I'm completely honest about it. Why not?"
He recalled: "When I saw her on the runway, I turned to Scott [his partner] and said, 'Oh f**k, she is stunning.'

"I tell you, her legs were six feet in the air. We have hundreds of those models in our roster right now."
Presenter Stacey then remarked to the couple: "Your reasoning will infuriate some people."
However, the father of eight seems quite accustomed to the backlash and mentioned how people accuse him of 'simply buying a beautiful baby'.
Defending his choice, he continued: "Most people could do a lot worse than spend one month of their life on medication to provide some embryos for $50,000."

"Do you worry that it's a slippery slope? If we start just saying we want beautiful kids?" Stacey asked.
But Drewitt-Barlow bluntly responded: "No, I don't. What do you want me to say? We need unattractive ones as well? Sorry, I just can't lie."
"Nobody wants an unattractive kid. Sometimes we get them, but we don't always want them and we deal with it and carry on."

Shocked by the remarks, Stacey went on to reason: "I just don't think that would be a priority for me if I were to go down that route. The idea that it has to be stunning. I think that's what irritates people."
But the multi-millionaire shrugged it off and replied: "Well, I couldn't really give a flying f**k about irritating anyone.
"That's not what I'm about, I couldn't care less. In an honest world, you want your kids to have a chance."
Understandably, his views have not been well-received by everyone, and the video has sparked quite the debate on social media.

Reacting to the episode snippet, one user retorted: "Nobody wants to raise a kid who ends up ugly on the inside either, but here we are."
Another concurred: "He's showing that some people are ugly on the inside."
While a third commented: "It seems like he views babies as attractive accessories - and the women providing eggs and wombs as disposable."
And a fourth added: "This is indescribably awful. Seriously."
However, some people rushed to defend the couple, with one user stating: "She's being so dishonest. Of course, she wants a beautiful baby."
A second agreed: "I don't see the issue here? Billions of men and women dream of having beautiful, tall, attractive partners. This man would probably have a baby with that model if he weren't gay."
While a third added: "As long as the baby is safe, unharmed, well cared for, clean, fed, and happy. That's all that matters."
